Denis Lynch reigns the Hong Kong Grand Prix

The 1.60m Longines Grand Prix in Hong Kong saw only two combinations clear in both rounds. After round one the best 12 combinations returned for round two. Eventually it was Denis Lych who started his Longines Masters adventure winning the Hong Kong Grand Prix.

Aboard his 12-year-old KWPN-gelding, Chablis (Couleur Rubin), Ireland's Denis Lynch speeded through the finish in 39.35 seconds. HJM Knops' breeding product moved to Lynch' stables beginning this year. Before Chablis was competed by Robert Murphy. Also Simon Delestre produced a double clear round. In the saddle of Uccello de Will (Marlou des Etisses) Delestre followed as runner-up while Pius Schwizer produced the record time stopping the clock in 38.56 seconds. Together with his 10-year-old KWPN-mare, Schwizer jumped one rail down, completing the Hong Kong stage. The pair was followed by Max Kühner with Cornet Kalua (Cornet Obolensky) in fourth and Luca Maria Moneta with his 18-year-old Connery (CordobesII) in fifth. Results
