French riders keep on dominating in Deauville
In Deauville, the French riders keep on dominating almost all classes. The first class of the day was a 1m40 class and the French riders took almost all top five placings.

The victory went to Guillaume Foutrier. He and Valdocco des Caps (f. Number One d'Iso) jumped a clear second phase in 32,49 seconds. With this time, they were only a bit faster then Titouan Schumacher and Oceane de Nantuel (v. Diamant de Semilly). This French combination jumped a clear round in 32,72 seconds, good for the second place. Charles Henri Ferme completed the top three with his 12-year old SBS mare Volonte D Eve (f. Kashmir van Schuttershof). They cleared the course in 33,30 seconds.

Daniel Neilson (Cirrus) and Jeroen Zwartjes (Udson de Jauzif) completed the top five. They ended respectively on fourth and fifth place.

In the 1m30 class it was the Canadian rider Sam Walker who took the victory. He and his Fursa van den Dael (f. Eros Platiere) were the fastest of 59 combinations with their time of 68,12 seconds. Felicie Bertrand and Chacon LS la Sille (f. Chapultepec la Silla) took the second place in front of their home crowd. The Belgian rider Patrick Jonkmans took the third place on the podium. He and his 9-year old BWP gelding cleared the course in 72,74 seconds.

Yasmin Rizvi and Chaplin W (f. Vermont) ended on fourth place. Gabin Ramel Jacob and Aragorn Sn (f. Argentinus) took account of the fifth place.

The main class of today was a 1m50 class, ridden against the clock. In this class, it was the British rider Guy Williams who speeded to victory. He rode his 12-year old Selle Français stallion Rouge de Ravel (f. Ultimo van ter Moude) to the finish line in 65,17 seconds. Gréfory Cottard and Regate d'Aure (f. Drakkar des Hutins) ended on second place after a clear round in 66,32 seconds. Titouan Schumacher and Atome Z (f. Amadeus Z'brimbelles) completed the top three with a time of 66,79 seconds.

Mathieu Billot (Joe van Terbeke) and Daniel Neilson (Major Delacour) completed the top five.
