Italy's Luca Maria Moneta speeded to victory aboard the 16-year-old Cordobes II-son, Connery. The pair stopped the clock in 61.87 seconds. A total of five combinations produced a clear jump-off round.
For own crowd, Paul Estermann followed as runner-up with the 9-year-old sBs-son of Ugano Sitte, Curti Sitte. Estermann crossed the finish clear in 65.21 seconds and was followed by Henrik von Eckermann with his 15-year-old Belgian Warmblood gelding, Cantinero (by Cento).
Daniel DEusser (Tobago Z, by Tangelo vd Zuuthoeve) and Steve Guerdat (Venard de Cerisy, by Open Up Semilly) completed the top five in a fourth and fifth place.
