Niels Bruynseels starts his Rolex Grand Slam adventure after Grand Prix win in 's Hertogenbosch

The summum of four days show jumping sport at the Dutch Masters of showjumping in 's Hertogenbosch was the 1.60m Rolex Grand Prix. A total of 13 combinations took the start in the Grand Prix jump-off. Eventually it was the last rider in the ring, Niels Bruynseels who jumped to glory setting the record time of 37.10 seconds aboard his trusted Gancia de Muze (f. Malito de Reve). The pair was just a bit faster as Marcus Ehning with the Cornet Obolensky son, Cornado NRW. Harrie Smolders completed the stage for his own crowd with the Belgian Warmblood sire, Emerald (f. Diamant de Semilly). The top five was completed by Bertram Allen (Gin Chin van het Lindenhof, f. Chin Chin) and Jur Vrieling (VDL Glasfow vh Merelsnest NOP, f. Nabab de REve) in a fourth and fifth place. For Belgium's Bruynseels the Rolex Grand Slam adventure has started with his 264.000 euro victory.   Click here for the results
