That winner became former number one of the world Scott Brash. He once again showed why he is one of the fastest riders of the world with Hello Forever (f. For Pleasure). Brash crossed the finish line after 38,62 seconds. With this he beat Ben Maher who took account of the second place with MTF Madame X (f. Contino). Maher and his 10-year old mare didn't touch the wood and finished 38,68 seconds. Denis Lynch and All Star 5 (f. Argentinus) completed the top three. They jumped a clear jump-off in 39,95 seconds.
The fourth place went to the Dutch top rider Harrie Smolders. With his BWP stallion Emerald N.O.P. (f. Diamant de Semilly) under the saddle, he jumped a clear jump-off in 39,48 seconds. The young Swiss rider Martin Fuchs ended on fifth place with Clooney 51 (f. Cornet Obolensky)
