Cian O'Connor starts the new year with a new horse in his stables. The 11-year-old Swiss Warmblood stallion, Copain Du Perchet CH (by Conteur I) joins O'Connor's stables. Before the dark bay was ridden by Edwin Smits.
Recently the pair jumped to a fifth place in the 1.40m CSI5* class at the CHI in Geneva, Switzerland. During the Autumn Tour in Oliva the combination placed third in the 1.45m CSI2* Grand Prix. Also in Lausanne's CSI5*, Crans Montana's CSI3*, Mijas' CSI3* and Al Ain's CSIO5* the stallion jumped to the money.
Copain is the son of the Ragazzo-mare, Romulee Du Perchet. The 15-year-old mare is aswell the mother of Lupin du Perchet CH (by Lupicor). This 9-year-old sire jumps on a 1.45m/1.50m level with Rudi Wallerbosch in the saddle.
