After a successful first edition, the Deauville Classic Auction returns for a 2nd edition. The auction presented by Fences Agency will take place on the 13th of August, 2022 during the Longines Deauville Classic.
14 neat sport horses, 8 exceptional foals and 6 embryo's with promising origins is what the auction brings to Deauville. All of this will be presented to you during at a gala auction during the CSI3* Longines Deauville Classic by Fences Agency
Among the foals, a 'Foal of the Heart' has again be chosen. Traditionally the proceeds of this sale will be donated to an association. This year they chose to support 'La Maison Escargot'. The lucky one is Mistinguett de Folie, a filly by Happy Day d'Iscla and Ilostra Dark born on 18 May, 2022.
Maternal lines such as of Itot Du Château, Mylord Carthago, Emerald and Hello Sanctos can be found with the embryo's.
Last but not least, the 5- to 8-year old horses have been selected on their ability to suit an amateur as well as a professional rider. All horses are prospects to compete on a minimum level of 1.40m and higher, all with clean veterinarian tests. There's also an option to test the horses by appointment from August 9 until August 13. They will be stationed nearby Deauville, at Haras du Barquet. The horses will be presented ridden on the 11th of August and also shown in hand on the evening of the auction. This will be guided by a gala dinner on invitation.
