Francois Jr Mathy just won the Opening Class of the Sires of the World in Zangersheide with Casanova de l'Herse (Ugano Sitte). Mathy was the only to clear the 1.40m high course in under 57 seconds with 14-year-old approved stallion.
Second place went to Ernesto Canseco, who finished just 24 hundredths slower with his 9-year-old Chacco-Blue son, Cornet Blue PS. Rodrigo Giesteira Almeida won bronze with Imposant van de Renger (Comme Il Faut).
Just out of the top three, Barbara Schnieper placed fourth with Quick Fire (Quintero), followed by Hendrik Sosath and Casino Grande (Casino Berlin OLD).
