Katie Dinan takes over the reins of Shane Sweetnam's Out of the Blue SCF

Shane Sweetnam sees Out of the Blue Scf (Verdi TN) leave his team. After a successful season in 2023, the nine-year-old mare will continue her career under Katie Dinan.

It was Spy Coast Farm, the breeder and owner of the successful mare, who announced the sale. Their statement read, "Congratulations to Katie Dinan on her acquisition of Out of the Blue SCF! We wish you the best and look forward to everything you will achieve together!"

Additionally, the team expressed gratitude to Shane Sweetnam. "As always, many thanks to Shane Sweetnam for guiding this exceptional horse to international success over the past year."

Out of The Blue SCF, along with Sweetnam, made their debut on the international scene in September 2022. Since then, the duo has climbed to the CSI5* level, where they debuted last October. Together, they claimed victory in the CSIO5* 1.60m Sport Ireland Classic in Dublin, and at the same level, they secured second place in the Grand Prix of Vancouver and the one in Dinard.
