Eckermann formed a pair with Chao Lee, a ten years old mare from Comme il Faut for this test. The German combination was one of the sixteen that took a start in the jump-off. They set the fastest time on 35,69s. Christian Kukuk, also a German rider, was aboard of Checker 47, also an offspring of Comme il Faut, to try and beat their time. The 13yo gelding was led by Kukuk to the finish in 36,37s and into second place.
Rolf-Göran Bengtsson demanded third place in the saddle of Zuccero (v. VDL Scirocco Blue), with only ten hundredths of a second more on the clock then Kukuk. Compatriot Irma Karlsson followed on fourth place with Chacconu (v. Chacco-Blue). The top five was concluded by yet another German rider, Mario Stevens who rode Starissa, a ten year old offspring of Stakkato Gold.
