Kendra Claricia Brinkop must let go of Quercus van den Oude Eik. The 8-year-old gelding by Jenson van 't Meulenhof x Darco had been working under the saddle of the German rider for two years.
In the fall of 2022, Brinkop took over the reins from Lente Dierickx, who had competed him internationally in young horse competitions earlier that year. The pair developed together to the 1.45m level. They were able to stand on the podium no less than 23 times, with 10 of those being first-place finishes.
The chestnut gelding is moving to France, but it is not yet known who will be riding him.
