Longines EEF Series gears up for its fourth season and welcomes Luxembourg and Denmark

The Longines EEF Series is back for its fourth edition, offering a summer-long Nations Cup competition and a dazzling final in Warsaw. Gorla once again kicks things off for the 8 regional qualifiers, in which two new events enter the calendar. Stutteri ASK (DEN) takes region North in May, while Luxembourg hosts region West in June.

Francois Thiry, President of the Luxembourg CSIO commented “We are thrilled to be part of the Longines EEF Series. We look forward to welcoming you to this exceptional event celebrating equestrian passion and the beauty of nature here in Luxembourg.”

Betina Moller Jensen, Stutteri ASK event manager said “At Stutteri Ask, we are delighted to become an international event organizer and we look forward to not only welcome Danish, but also international riders at our venue.  We have one of the most exclusive showgrounds in Denmark with all the best facilities for both audience, riders, grooms and most importantly the horses so we are ready to take on the task and are sure it will be an extraordinary event.”

The North/West semi-final heads again to beautiful Deauville while South/Central will return to Budapest. For the final we are delighted to be back in Warsaw, the home of the Longines EEF Series Final on Sunday 8 September where we will see if Austria can hold their title, or if a new nation will challenge.

The Longines EEF Series is focused on the complete development of the sport. Providing opportunities to learn, grow and progress in an inviting and confidence-building environment. To support these aims, riders will have opportunities to win bonuses across the season. Prizes will be awarded to the U25s who jump double clear in regional qualifiers and any rider who can keep a clean sheet at the Final.

The Longines EEF Series Horse of the Year competition

To celebrate our horses, the Longines EEF Series Horse of the Year competition will be back! Last year the public voted Lord Mexx (GRE) as their winner, and we can’t wait to see which horses will be in the running. Nominations will open after the second semi-final and any horse who has competed in at least two events will be eligible for the award.

The winner will be announced in a special prize giving during the Final in Warsaw
