Peder Fredricson is new rider for Olympian Chopin VA

The Swede Peder Fredricson takes over the reins of Chopin VA. The stallion by Casall participated in the 2021 Olympic Games in Tokyo under Sri Lanka's Mathilda Karlsson. The latter was suspended by the FEI until January 2025.


The fourteen-year-old breeding product of Manfred von Allwoerden finds temporary accommodation with Peder Fredricson, who has already built an impressive record himself. Karlsson was suspended by the FEI this year for failing to comply with mandatory doping controls.

The new duo had a successful start last weekend at the Jönköping Horse Show, where they won the 1.35m class on Wednesday, November 1st. On Wednesday, they also jumped faultlessly over 1.40m. They concluded the 1.45m Grand Prix with a fifteenth-place finish.
