It was the German David Will aboard Spring Dark (by Jazz Band Courcelle) who jumped the fastest clear round. Their time of 53.47 placed them first. 

Irish Michael Pender follows with a time of 54.76 in the saddle of HHS Forunte, a Catoki-son. Abdul Rahman Bader Al Rajhi, jumping for the Kingdom of Saudi-Arabia with Hot Stuff (by Tornesch 1042) finishes in 55.91, deserving them the bronze medal. Compatriot Khaled Abdulrahman Al Mobty aboard Soccero (by Singulord Joter) finishes in 56.39 placing them fourth. 

Irish Jack Ryan and Essenar High Hopes (by Phin Phin) come in fifth place. 


Kristaps Neretnieks and Udgi Girl des Gy (by Quidam de Revel) take home the sixth place, while Jörg Naeve follows with HH Fleur (by Darco) on seven. Holger Wulschner and Casirus (by Casiro 3) finish eight, staying in front of Paolo Paini and Ottava Meraviglia dia Ca'San G (by For Pleasure) and Abdullah Mohd Al Marri aboard Belcanto Z (by Berlin).

In the Puissance, a split victory for Naser Al Shawwaf, Abdullah Al Sharbatly and Mouda Zeyada. Naser Al Shawwaf was aboard Moeen (by Lord Z), Al Sharbatly was in the saddle of Artuur JH Z (by Andiamo) and Zeyada took Vizalaty (by Newton de Kreisker) to the competition ring.
