Cian O'Connor about his legal case: We are sure to get a Rio 2016 Qualification in return ...

In December Cian O'Connor and the Irish Horse Sport Federation will be questionned by the Court. This regarding the incident of this years second team final round at the European Championships in Aachen, Germany. The hearing will take place on December 16th in London or Lausanne (Switzerland). "I hope we will win this case," states former Olympic rider, Cian O'Connor. "We are sure about our case and hope our team will be restituted by a qualification for the Rio 2016 Olympic Games." Ireland and O'Connor filed an appeal after O'Connor's Good Luck got a fault on fence number nine. According to the show jumper someone of the arena crew was in the way of the rider and his horse. Because of this fault Ireland missed out on one of the Qualifiers for the RIO2016 Olympic Games.
