During the CSI3* competition of Odense, this afternoon the finale of the Danish Championship for Young Horses was ridden. The youngsters entered the show ring in three different age-categories. The best twenty horses of each age categorie could start in the finale. With the 5-year old horses, it was Jesper Meyenburg who rode Bogegarden Gladiola (Bogengarden's Graf's Stakkato) to the victory in 72,99 seconds. This combination rode a clear round in 72,99 seconds. Second place went to Pernille Tribler and Cappucino PR (Cormint). They rode a very fast clear round, but that wasn't enough to keep Meyenburg from winning. Kapser H. Hansen, who was on the lead entering the finale, had to settle for a shared second place. He and Happy Feets Heartbeat (Heartbeat) were still able to win the silver medal. The fourth place was a shared fourth place was well. Charlotte Schreiber (Calina), Sara Kroman Roselund Christensen (Lovegards Dirty Dancer) and Michael Moller Flintrup (Bogegardens Lansing) ended all on fourth place. In the categorie for 5-year old horses, it was very clear who was on the podium. Karen Miller Rohde took account of the first place with Fendi Ask (Favorit Ask). Mathilder Lind Skjott and Volstrups Cato (Churhill) were good for a second place. Rikke Haastrup Krinstensen rode the stallion First Coiche HT (Favorit Ask) to the third place. Allon Blomgreen (Brisbane) and Thomas Uhler (Fascination) ended on fourth and fifth place. The Danish Championship concluded with the class for 6-year old horses. In this class, the winners were very clear as well. Soren Moller Rihde won the gold medal with Hip Hop Ask (Ci Ci Senjor Ask). Second place was for Tina Wang Simensen and Sierra (Stolzenverg).
