The highly exclusive embryo by Hickstead out of the full sister of Quod’Coeur de la Loge has been sold for 34.000 Euro through Embryoauction.com to Sweden. Since the launch of Embryoauction.com in August 2015, this unique embryo is the most expensive embryo sold so far. A Swedish buyer eventually won the bidding fight for the embryo of the legendary Hickstead – Eric Lamaze’s Olympic champion in 2008. Although there is not much frozen semen left from the sadly passed away Hickstead, through the modern ICSI method an embryo of this famous stallion could be created. The dam of this embryo is none other than Tsarina de la Loge – a daughter of Ideal de la Loge and the full sister to Quod’Coeur de la Loge. Ridden by France’s Roger-Yves Bost, Ideal de la Loge was among world’s best and won two Global Champions Tour Grand Prix competitions. Nowadays, Quod’Coeur de la Loge is Roger-Yvest Bost’s number one mount and recently won the Global Champions Tour Grand Prix of Mexico City.
