For the first time in history a Chinese rider competes at the world cup finals ...

At the end of March all eyes are set on the world cup finals in Gothenborg. However for the first time in history there will be a Chinese rider competing.  Daniel Zhao qualified this morning for his spot on the starting list. At the Zilveren Spoor in Belgium the Chinese show jumper competed in today's official qualifier. Aboard his new ride, the 13-year-old Selle Français stallion, Pommeau du Heup (by Helios de la Cour II), Zhao collected his ticket for the finals. At the beginning of this month the BWP Elite sire switched riders. Before it was Niels Bruynseels who competed the stallion.
