Former Show jumper Pierre Durand a candidate for FEI President

The French Federation has announced that Pierre Durand will run as candidate for the post as FEI's new president. Durand, who has been European Champion, team World Champion and individual gold medalist at the Olympic Games, was president of the French Federation from 1993-1998. Switzerland's Pierre Génécand and Denmark's Ulf Helgstrand have also been announced as candidates. The election will take place on December 14th and each national federation will have one vote.
