Gregory Cottard and Cocaine du Val unbeatable in CSI4* Grand Prix of Ascona

A total of ten combinations qualified for the Jump-Off in the CSI4* Longines Grand Prix in Ascona, Switzerland. In the end the French anthem sounded thanks to Gregory Cottard and his 11-year-old Cocaine du Val.

Cottard and his daughter by Mylord Carthago, jumped to victory in 34,78 seconds, referring Harry Charles (GBR) with just 0,1 second difference, to the runner-up position. Charles followed on stage aboard his 12-year-old mare, Aralyn Blue (Chacco-Blue). 

In front of the home-crowd, Evelyne Bussmann and her 16-year-old SF-mare, Tafila d'Urville (Jenny de la Cense*HN) completed the Grand Prix-stage.

The pair was followed by Zazou Hoffman and Bloom du Plessis (Orient Express). Janika Sprunger claimed the fifth place with her 9-year-old Belgian Warmblood-mare, Orelie (Emerald van 't Ruytershof).
