Only four combinations managed to qualify for the final Jump-Off in the 1.60m CSI5* Grand Prix in Bordeaux. In the end only one combination produced a double clear, claiming the victory in front of the home crowd! Gregory Cottard and the 11-year-old Cocaine du Val made it a home win in 35.40 seconds.
The Bordeaux World Cup winners, Marlon Modolo Zanotelli (BRA) and his 12-year-old Belgian Warmblood sire, Grand Slam VDL (Cardento) produced the fastest Jump-Off. With one rail down, the pair settled as runner-up.
Currently ranked on top of the Western -European World Cup ranking and as number one in the Jumpr App, Henrik von Eckermann (SWE) followed in a third spot with his 10-year-old KWPN-mare, Iliana (Cardento).
With the necessary risks and some time penalties, Lars Bak Andersen placed fourth aboard Carl-Heinz B (Chacco-Blue). Fastest four-point in the first round, Result Equine-rider Daniel Deusser completed the top five. Deusser placed fifth with Bingo Ste Hermelle (Number One d'Iso), with whom he earlier won the main class on Friday.
