Henrik von Eckermann back on top of Western-European World Cup ranking

The FEI World Cup finals are getting closer. For the Western-European League still one competition is left on the agenda, the Göteborg horse show, taking place from February 23 until 26. After the World Cup competition in Bordeaux, conquered by Marlon Modolo Zanotelli, Sweden's Henrik von Eckermann is back in the lead, replacing France's Julien Epaillard.

Epaillard is undoubtedly on a streak, winning the Worldcup competitions in Lyon, Madrid and Amsterdam. With his third place in Bordeaux, it is however Henrik von Eckermann who reclaims the lead of the Western-European ranking. So far Eckermann won the Worldcup competitions in Verona and Basel. Daniel Deusser (GER) is currently ranked third.

The German showjumping rider is followed by Harry Charles (GBR) and Kevin Staut (FRA).
