How is it with your top horse Quod'Coeur de la Loge?
Qoud'Coeur is in a good shape. We recently are back in action. Together we took the start in Doha. After Barcelona Qoud'Coeur enjoyed some rest, but in Doha we passed the exam (smiles). "This week we'll see if he's able to jump in this small arena (read Saut Hermès, de son of Ideal de la Loge jumped two rails down in the Grand Prix).Any news on Pégase du Murier?
Pégase will soon compete again during the outdoor season. It's a very special horse with a strong character. Sometimes he's the one giving me a headache. But the last competitions we jumped were not that bad.Who will you count on for the next Nations Cup season?
I can still count on my wonderful mares, Sydney and Sangria . At this moment Sydney is a bit more reliable for the bigger classes. Qoud'Coeur might compete one Nations Cup as well, we'll have to see about that. Sydney is for sure ready. She competed at the Grand Prix in Bâle and Doha (and that one was build heavy enough). Sangria we'll have to see if she's ready for this year. She finished 7th in Hong Kong. Both are super stars but the key will be to choose the right horse at the right time. And of course I need to be selected first. In March and April I won't compete to much. I'll work towards the competition in La Baule and take that as my start for the bigger classes. If I could choose I'd love to compete in La Baule, Rome and then we'll see.
