At the London Olympia Horse Show Belgium's Karel Cox' Chalino Z passed away last night. Cox' 8-year-old Chippendale-son passed away after a veterinarian check-up.
After their competition in the 1.45m class, Cox noticed a small cut with Chalino Z. The gelding was treated for further infection, some time later he passed away.
Further investigation and autopsy will have to conclude the cause of death. The grey gelding was produced at an international level by Stephan Verschueren.
