L.B. Convall stays with Ludger Beerbaum

  Earlier this year it was announced the 10-year-old grey stallion, L.B. Convall was put to sale after a splendid Rolex Grand Prix win in Spruce Meadows in Calgary. Now Ludger Beerbaum has announced he has acquired the stallion from Hans Liebherr. The Colman-son competed and will continue to compete under the saddle of Beerbaum's rider, Philipp Weishaupt. The pair jumped into the spotlights last year placing fourth in the Spruce Meadows Grand Prix, winning the Rolex Grand Prix in Aachen and this year jumping to glory in Spruce Meadows. In 2015 Weishaupt took over the reins of the stallion from Christina Liebherr.
