August 19th is a black day for the international show jumping community. Portuguese rider Manuel malta Da Costa died at the age of 68 years. The cause is his leukemia. As a rider he made name competing at several international championships and competitions. He was successful with Ecaussevillais, Nestor and Prosper Ardent. Aboard the famous Jalisco B he competed to the top of the world. Our condolences to the family and friends
