At the end of this year, Michel Sorg (SUI) will stop his task as teamchef for the Swiss national jumping squad. Sorg will continue his career as general director of the Swiss equestrian federation. Starting next month (May 1) Sorg will start his training for his new position.
This year Sorg will continue to coach the Swiss jumping squad with the biggest aim the European Championships in Milan, and the connected Olympic Games qualification for Paris 2024. Who'll be the next chef d'equipe will be revealed at the end of this year.
With the 37-year-old vice-president of the CHI Genève, the Swiss team won the 2021 European Gold Medal.
