Alberto Zorzi jumped to victory in yesterday's World Cup in Oslo. The Italian rider and the organisation prepared for some reactions after. Alberto Zorzi: "First world cup. First time in Oslo. A dream come true." I jumped a super first round, and that gave me the strenght to risk it all in the jump-off. I've been working at Jan Tops' stables for one year now. Jan  gave me a lot of opportunities that allowed me to develop my riding. Thanks to Jan I can rider a lot of horses, 2*, 4* and 5* horses. At the moment I haven't planned any other worldcup qualifiers yet. I'm thinking of Verona. Talking about today's cours, Zorzi added; "The first round was a good round. Not to heigh. Technical and wide enough. Jan told me to try in the jump off, and I tried. I was lucky. Distance was good and she jumped super."

Marcus Ehning: I was surprised to see him going so fast and realized the jump-off wasn't going to be easy. My horse jumped really good. First season on a 5* level with this horse, which makes this result even more promising. It was a little bit strange today. There were many riders in the jump-off, there was no other option as to take the turns to the oxers, as I did. Next I'm heading for the worldcup qualifier in Lyon, France. Pieter Devos: (laughs), I like Norway, I think I might stay here a little bit longer. Today's result is more than I hoped for. My horse jumped very well today and I can just say I'm very happy. If I stay with my first plan I'm heading for Helsinki this week. John Roche : Amazing event and amazing venue. This opening worldcup qualifier is one in a kind. Special thanks to Kingsland and Longines for the support to our sport.
