German show jumper Katrin Eckermann is back on the sidelines after being involved in a car accident. In july Katrin already broke her collarbone at Aachen, after falling at exactly the same fence two days running. Soon after recovery she fell again in Paderbron, this time suffering concussion. That is when the German 24-year-old decided to cancel riding until she was fully recovered. Now Eckermann is taken to hospital after the road accident earlier this month. She injured her collarbone, setting her out for a few weeks. We wish her a speedy recovery
