Show jumping legend, Hans Günther Winkler has passed away at age 91 years old. The multiple Olympic medal winner will be recorded in history books as one of the most successful show jumping riders ever. Winkler collected five Olympic gold medals, a silver and bronze medal. Winkle passed away after a hearth attack. In the summer of 1986 Winkler retired from the sport after a 35 year active career. After he served as German Chef d'equipe and started his own jumping stable, Warendorf.
