Snowflake sponsorship renewal for Ben Maher

Plevin, manufacturers of the market leading Snowflake range of equestrian bedding, have extended their sponsorship deal with Ben Maher for another year. The Manchester based wood recycling firm have been sponsoring the Show Jumper for the past eight years.

The Hertfordshire-based rider has represented Great Britain at the Olympics on two occasions and is both Olympic team gold and European team gold medallist. Ben is currently ranked World Number 2, and British number two (Show Jumping).

The horses on Ben’s yard are all stabled on Snowflake Softchip. Softchip is manufactured using selected softwood timbers which go through a chipping process before being dust-extracted. An alternative to traditional wood shavings, Softchip offers excellent absorbency rates, is easy to manage and has a pleasant, fresh aroma in the stable.

Ben Maher said, “Plevin have been one of my first supporters. They have believed in me since the beginning of my career. Their star-product Snowflake Softchip is fantastic. I feel privileged to be working with such a team and for my horses to be on such a quality product.”

Lynne White, PR and communications manager, Plevin, said, “We are delighted to be providing Ben with our Snowflake Softchip bedding for another year. Plevin had seen Ben develop from young rider through to international glory over the years and on behalf of everyone here at Plevin, we would like to wish him every success over the forthcoming year”.
