The 2016 Furusiyya FEI Nations Cup Europe Division 1 kicks off this week in Lummen, Belgium. Peter Postelmans and his team welcome the top show jumping crowd in his back yard. Belgium, Great Britain, Netherlands, Switzerland, France, Ireland, Sweden, Germany, Italy and the Czech Republic are competing in Europe Division 1 this year. In total there will be eight legs of the series. In Lummen it is the hosts, Ireland, Italy, Germany and the Czech REpublic that are allocated to collect points. France, Great Britain and Switzerland will also field teams in Lummen, but are not eligible for points at this stage. On the team for the hosts are Jerome Guery/Papillon Z, Gudrun Patteet/Sea Coast Pebbles Z, Catherine Van Roosbroeck/Gautcho da Quinta and Karel Cox/Cor van de Wateringhoeve.
