Finbarr V, the chestnut gelding by Robert Whitaker was euthanized on Thursday at the age of 17 years. Last year Finbarr rode to a third spot at the CSI -competition in Vejer de la Frontera. In 2012 in Boll the chestnut ended second. Whitaker won among others at the Olympics in 2007, CSI5* in Geveva and was very succesful at other national and international competitions. Since 2011 Finbarr was ridden by British Kayleigh Watts.
