ICSI: "curse or savier of traditional breeding?!"

A lot has already been written about ICSI (Intracytoplasmic Sperm Injection) in equestrian sports. The announcement by the Swedish studbook that it will no longer register foals resulting from this technique, as well as the Selle Français studbook's intention to start labeling ICSI foals, has sparked considerable debate once again. In a roundtable discussion with Luc Ruant (Picobello Horses), Jozef Bauters (President of BWP), Luc Tilleman (T&L, regular participant), and Maurice van Roosbroeck (regular participant), it became clear that opinions on this controversial technology are strongly divided.
