As one of the last combinations to start it was eventually Christian Ahlmann with his 10-year-old Solid Gold (Stakkato Gold) who speeded to victory in the concluding 1.50m CSI5* LGCT class in London.
The pair was one of the last to go and managed to set a record time in under 35 seconds. Referring Peder Fredricson with H&M Christian K (Namelus R) to the runner-up position.
The pair was followed by Italy's Emanuele Gaudiano aboard Nikolaj de Music (Kannan). Together with his 8-year-old Belgian Warmblood gelding, Gaudiano was followed by USA 's Laura Kraut and Goldwin (Emerald). Yuri Mansur and his trusted 13-year-old Ibelle ASK (Verdi) completed the top five.
