Andrew Kocher wins the CSI4* Grand Prix of Salzburg

Andrew Kocher (USA) and Squirt Gun (Diarado x Quick Star) won Sunday's CSI4* 1.60m Travel Charme Grand Prix of Salzburg and could drive home in a Ford Ranger Pickup from Auto Pichler Leoben. ”It is fantastic here. I didn’t even know that it was a car to win, very cool!” Kocher said after his win.

Only three horse-and-rider combinations went double clear over the difficult course and after crossing the finish line of the jump-off in 39.54 seconds, Kocher ended up with the win. The runner-up position went to Wilm Vermeir (BEL) with Dm Jacqmotte (Toulon x Indoctro) after stopping the clock at 41.26 seconds. Third place went to Alexandra Thornton (GBR) with Cornetto K (Cornet Obolensky x Calido).

The fastest four fault round in the jump-off was delivered by Marc Dilasser (FRA) with Vital Chance de la Roque (Diamant de Semilly x Rivage du Poncel) with 40.25 seconds, and was followed by Holly Smith (GBR) with Hearts Destiny (Heart Throb x Rabino).
