Five combinations produced a clear Jump-Off round in this 1.55m class. The fastest chrono was set by Great-Britain's Ben Maher aboard his 10-year-old Chacco-Blue-mare, Explosion W. The pair was the only to finish in under 47 seconds.
Spain's Eduardo Alvarez Aznar followed as runner-up with the 14-year-old Rokfeller de Peville Bois Margot (L'Arc de Triomphe), while Daniel Deusser completed the stage with his trusted 11-year-old Tobago Z (Tangelo vd Zuuthoeve).
Last rider at the start, Olivier Philippaerts placed fourth. With H&M Extra (Berlin) he was followed by Marc Houtzager in the saddle of Sterrehof's Dante (Canturano).
