The current number two on the Longines Ranking, Ben Maher, jumped to victory. Maher won the World Cup leg with his 10-year-old SF mare, Dallas Vegas Batilly (Cap Kennedy). Together with his own mare, the Brit finished just under two-tenths of a second ahead of Steve Guerdat and the 14-year-old Venard de Cerisy (Open Up Semilly).

Belgian show jumper Nicola Philippaerts completed the top three. Philippaerts secured the third spot on the podium with the BWP mare, Katanga vh Dingeshof (Cardento).

The combination pushed Peder Fredricson with Hansson WL (Hip Hop) to the fourth position. Max Kühner rounded out the top five with his EIC Julius Caesar (Couleur Rubin).

"Dallas was already perfect in the first round today. She performed just as well in the barrage, where she supported me in the best way possible, responding greatly to every request on such a challenging course. I've been with the mare since September 2022. Together, we had already won a 5-star grand prix in Brussels at the end of August, and now she's back in great shape, as she demonstrated by finishing third in the Grand Prix last weekend in Lyon. You have to assert yourself with her because maybe she would prefer me to be just a passenger and not the rider, but in the end, we get along very well. Overall, I am particularly happy for this success achieved in a truly fantastic atmosphere, with thousands of people inside and outside the arena."
