Just before the World Cup competition the Youngsters impressed in Leipzeg at the Partner Pferd; Aboard the 8-year-old Belgian Warmblood gelding, Mandato van de Neerheide, it was Christian Ahlmann jumping to victory in the finals. Angelique Rüsen won the 7 year old finals aboard Luke Lemon.
Together with the son of Emerald, Ahlmann stopped the clock in 31.39 seconds. Mandato was bred by Eric van Giel and sold throughh an auction to Isabell Jauss. The winners of the second qualifier, Hans-Dieter Dreher and Perideaux (Perigueux) followed on stage, while Benjamin Wulschner placed third aboard Pure Boy T (Perigueux).
The pair was followed by Daniel Deusser with Mr. Jones (I'm Special de Muze) in fourth and Hendrik Sosath with Casino Grande (Casino Berlin) in fifth.
