In Linz-Ebelsberg, Austria, an international weekend just concluded with the Grand Prix of the CSI3* competition. In this 1m50 Grand Prix, only six combinations managed to jump a clear first round. A jump-off with only six combinations therefore had to decide who could call himself the winner of this Grand Prix.
In the end, it was Germany's Jörne Sprehe who rode Hot Easy (by Andiamo Z) to victory. The duo left all the bars in the scoops and clocked off in 39.91 seconds. This was faster than the best Dutchman, Frank Schuttert, who finished in second place with Hero (by Cantos). They managed to record a clear round behind their name and clocked off in 40.42 seconds. Marcel Marschall completed the top three. He counted on Coolio 42 (by Casalito) to jump a clear round in 42.96 seconds.
Eric Ten Cate finished in fourth place. Riding Incredible (by Clinton), he kept all the bars in the scoops and clocked off in 43.76 seconds. Thibeau Spits completed the top five with Hing van Essene (by Calido I). Although the duo recorded a fast time behind their name, two jumping faults relegated them to fifth place.
