CSI5* Cannes: Emanuele Gaudiano unbeatable in speed class

In Cannes, the Grand Prix of the CSI5* competition is still on the programme later today but in anticipation of that, the CSI5* riders came into action for the first time for a 1m45 class ridden directly against the clock. Emanuele Gaudiano showed once again why he is one of the fastest riders in the world. Riding Vasco 118 (by Vivant), he recorded a clear round in 60.14 seconds to take the win.

This kept him ahead of two Belgians: Devos and Thomas. Pieter Devos and Jarina J (by Cicero Z van Paemel) took home the second place. The 10-year-old mare did not come close to the wood and clocked off in 62.31 seconds. Gilles Thomas in turn rode Constantin 110 (by Colestus) to third place. The duo recorded a clear round in 62.35 seconds.

Gregory Cottard and Gammelgaards Carola (by Companiero) followed in fourth place. The duo was able to keep the clear and clocked off in 62.94 seconds. He shared that place with Evelina Tovek. She rode Moeboetoe vd Roshoeve (by Der Senaat) clear and also clocked off in 62.94 seconds.
