Emeric George takes winning start in Rome!

Today the action kicked-off in Rome with a CSIO5* 1.45m Winning Round. In it, France's Emeric George jumped to victory aboard his 8-year-old Gloria Mercoeur (Cornet Obolensky). 

The French showjumper was only 0.19 seconds faster as reigning Olympic Champion, Ben Maher and Enjeu de Grisien (Toulon). Aboard his own 10-year-old SF-gelding, Maher, referred, Peder Fredricson and H&M Bahia (Baloubet du Rouet) to the third spot.

The pair was followed by Mario Stevens and Cornet de Semilly (Cornet Obolenksy), while Jose Antonio Chedraui Eguia and Good Limit (Spartacus TN) completed the top five!
