Eventually the win for the CSI4* 1.55m Grand Prix in Arezzo was handed out after a Jump-Off with only two combinations. In the end only Emma Emanuelsson and her 10-year-old Canbella Blue Ps (breeder: Paul Schockemöhle) managed to produce a double clear!
Sweden's Emanuelsson soared to Grand Prix victory with the Cantolar mare. On the podium, Philipp Weishaupt followed with his Zinedine son, Zineday. Weishaupt knocked down two rails in the jump-off.
With one jumping fault in the base round, Giulia Martinengo Marquet completed the podium with Delta del'Isle (Tibet Tame). In front of her home crowd, the Italian rider narrowly edged out compatriot Francesco Turturiello and Quite Balou (Quite Capitol). The top five was rounded out by Jörne Sprehe with the 12-year-old KWPN mare, Sprehe Hot Easy (Andiamo Z).
