Former Olympian rider Sönke Sönksen receives Meteor-Preis

Former Olympian rider Sönke Sönksen has won the Holstein Masters Meteor Preis. This Prize is given once a year to 'special personalities in the equestrian sports and breeding'. And this year, Sönksen is the lucky winner. 



Sönksen was a part of the German jumping team in the past and represented his country during many Nations Cups and Championships. Besides the honor, Sönken wins an amount of money and a sculpture of the legendary Meteor, who was ridden by Fritz Thiedermann.
