Franke Sloothaak shares his expertise ... this is how you train the water jump

© Stefano Secchi

As the outdoor season is busy the most scary jump a horse/rider combination can image ... the (big) water is back in many courses. In a new training video on  Equitube / Equschool, Franke Sloothaak shares an exercise to train on the water fence. "The problem is most riders are afraid of the jump and start to speed towards it without any concentration. It is important you keep your calm and approach it with comfort ... this is how you do it." (The video can be watched on Equitube/ Equschool or on Equnews as EQU+ reader).
