Also in Ommen an international weekend ended with the Grand Prix. Maikel van der Vleuten rode to victory in the Grand Prix of the CSI3* competition. He was the best of seven jump-off candidates and rode Elwikke (by Eldorado vd Zeshoek) clear in 39,41 seconds.
He was just a second faster than Patrick Lemmen who finished in second place with Full Option van't Zand (by Flamingo K). This duo had a clear round and finished in 40.34 seconds. Leopold van Asten completed the podium. He could ride VDL Groep Falco (by Clearway) and had a clearround in 40,54 seconds.
Frank Schuttert (Kinky Boy van het Gildenhof) and Fabienne Roelofsen (Roelofsen Horse Trucks Eldorado) completed the complete Dutch top five.
