Grace Debney and Zarina de Vidau win Speed Derby at Devon Horse Show

In true derby fashion, course designer Alan Wade’s track for Friday's CSI4* 1.45m $38,700 Jaguar Land Rover Main Line Devon Speed Derby at Devon Horse Show spanned across both the Dixon Oval and Wheeler Ring prompting horse and rider combinations to gallop under the iconic “Where Champions Meet” sign to make their way down to the final obstacles.

Aboard Zarina de Vidau (Diamant de Semilly x Coeur de Nuit), Grace Debney (GBR) flew through the timers in a time of 74.46, with one down – time converted faults put the pair at 78.46 to take home the win over Jimmy Torano (USA) and his own Kochio Z (Kannan x Diamant de Semilly) who posted a clear round in 78.82 to capture second place. Rounding out the podium in third was Jessica Mendoza, also representing Great Britain, and her own I-Cap CL Z (I'm Special de Muze x Air Jordan Z) with a time of 79.21.
