Today the show jumping riders kicked-off their Xmas horse show in London. In the 1.40m Welcome Stakes the home riders made it a homerun, with Holly Smith on top aboard her 8-year-old Flipper Darco UK Z (Flipper d'Elle).

Germany's Michael Jung was the last to start in this 1.40m class. Together with the 8-year-old Dante RZ (Diarado), Jung eventually had to settle for the third place. The German rider saw Holly Smith an Laura Renwick in front of him on stage. Holly Smith was the only to keep the timer in under 26 seconds.
Aboard Flipper Darco UK Z she was followed by Laura Renwick with her KWPN-gelding, Bintang II (Tangelo vd Zuuthoeve), stopping the clock at 26 seconds.
Outside the stage, Ireland's Anthony Condon placed fourth with the 10-year-old Z-mare, Zira vh Kapelhof Z (Zurich). Geir Gulliksen completed the top five aboard the 14-year-old KWPNN-gelding, Arakorn (Cantos)..
