In the second round, Great-Britain's John Whitaker was one of the final riders at the start aboard his Unick du Francport (Zandor). With one jumping fault, team Great-Britain ended on a total of eight points. Belgium followed at the start.

Final rider for the Belgium jumping devils was championships rider, Gregory Wathelet and his impressive grey,  Nevados S (Calvados Z). In the final line the combination jumped one rail down, bringing Belgium to a total of 8 points. Meaning Germany had nothing to lose and André Thieme and DSP Chakaria (Chap 47) eventually decided not to start, leaving team Germany on top with 5 points.

Strongest team member for Germany was without a doubt, Janne Friederike Meyer-Zimmermann aboard her 10-year-old Belgian Warmblood gelding, Messi van 't Ruytershof (Plot Blue). The pair was the only to set a double clear within the team. Further the winning team was represented by Christian Kukuk aboard the BWP-sire, Mumbai 3 (Diamant de Semilly) and Jana Wargers with the 13-year-old Limbridge (Limbus).
