In an official press release, the organization of CSI Twente announced that a horse was euthanized during the competition. The organization does not wish to disclose which horse it was.
On behalf of the organization of CSI Twente, we hereby share the following statement. During the evening program on Thursday, a horse from an international participant unfortunately did not get up after an unfortunate fall on the course and subsequently passed away in the hands of the attending veterinarians. Out of respect for those involved, no further details will be shared," reports CSI Twente.
